The CDE

The Comité des Élèves (C.D.E.), or Pupils’ Committee, is the democratically elected student council of the European School of Brussels II (EEB2). Representing all students, the CDE works to amplify student voices, defend their rights, and improve school life. Through events, initiatives, and transparent communication, the CDE fosters a vibrant and inclusive community.

The CDE is made out of three parts, our Core, our Teams and our external representation in other projects and organisations.

The Core

The Presidency

The CDE Presidency, oversees everything that happens in the CDE and are making sure everything is running smoothly and efficiently. The presidency this year is made up out of our President, Andrei Crinta (Left), and our Vice-President, Nora Eichhorn (Right).

The Treasury and The Secretary

Our Core Team isn’t just made out our Presidency.

The Treasury team manages all financial matters of the Pupils’ Committee. They oversee the budget, process payments and transfers, and keep clear records of every expense. The Treasurer, Victoria Rädler (Middle) leads the finance work and the Vice-Treasurer, Laura Somma (Right) acts as the Treasurer’s right hand, helping maintain transparency and accountability. Together they ensure the committee’s funds are handled responsibly.

Our Secretary, Zina Feustel (Left), is in charge of taking the CDEs meeting notes. Making them available to everyone.

The Teams

Improvement

“The Improvement Team’s goal is to ameliorate the secondary school experience for all students. It will try to do so by focusing on smaller scale changes that will impact on the pupils faster and make their time at school that extra bit better. This year, we plan on improving the sports equipment in the preaus, improving common spaces and to continue responding to feedback from students. We are always open to suggestions, so if you have input or ideas feel free to reach out to us!
